Grand Canyon University is seeking a Student Engagement Project Coordinator responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and involvement within the institution. If this sounds like the job for you, apply below!

Location: GCU's Main Campus, 33rd Ave. and Camelback Phoenix, Arizona

What you will do:

  • Lead the logistics and operations of Student Engagement events including line management, scheduling and data collection.

  • Distributes communications regarding student activities. for print and digital delivery.

  • Maintain and organize reports to build historical data to inform department decisions and insight.

  • Mitigate event escalations and manage client expectations.

  • Research effective logistic strategies and stay up to date on trends.

  • Manage within assigned expense budget, advising Project Manager of excessive expenses.  Follows appropriate GCU protocols for contracts, orders, and accounting.

  • Provides input and assists Project Manager in creating written protocols, procedures, and policies.

  • Recruit, train, and assist the on-going development of Student Workers throughout the year and assists the Project Manager with other campus-wide programs, as needed.

  • Perform other administrative tasks activities such as tracking budgets/expenses, preparing reports, answering phones, filing, data entry, photocopying, collating materials, etc.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited institution preferably in graphic design, marketing, advertising, business administration, entrepreneurial studies, or related field.

  • 1-year experience in customer service role which requires high volume client management, preferably in an agency setting.

  • Additional supervisory experience in a higher education setting desirable, preferably in a Student Affairs or Student Engagement setting.

  • Must successfully pass a background check.
