Course: Social Media Data and Analytics

This course uses industry standard tools for planning and evaluation of social media campaigns. Students will learn how to collect data and learn how to make data-based decisions that affect the success of social campaigns.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism, Multi-media Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree preferred
• Experience working with social media strategy, content creation, and review. Direct experience with Hootsuite, Hubspot, Google Analytics and other industry standard data and analysis tools.
• Minimum 3 years applicable industry experience.
