Course: Social Media Capstone

During this course students will research, plan, create, publish, and analyze the results of a self-directed social media campaign, including the creation and management of an online community.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
  • Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism, Multimedia Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 3 years of professional industry experience.
  • Experience leading creative teams and managing the design, creation, and production of social media content.
  • Strong skills in writing, photography, and video production.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (desktop and mobile).
