Purpose within the Organization

The Office of Academic Records (OAR) is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated student associate to assist with the day-to-day operations of the department. This position will facilitate the workflow of the Office of Academic Records by helping fulfill incoming requests from other departments and stakeholders. The position will be responsible for assisting with a broad range of functions related to data entry, incoming/outgoing mail, and other office-related needs.

Responsibilities Related to Purpose

  • Data entry.
  • Sorting incoming requests.
  • Printing/scanning documents.
  • Preparing outgoing documents.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks for the department.
  • Assisting with other requests as needed.


  • Detail-oriented.
  • Efficient, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work a consistent weekly schedule.
  • Previous administrative experience in an office setting is helpful, but not required.

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. 
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
