The https://GCU College of Nursing & Health Care Professionals has an Immediate need for a Full-Time Lab Faculty Member. As the Lab Faculty Member, you will be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the day - to -day operations of the nursing lab. The lab is used by all nursing students and nursing faculty. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our academic community.

What you will do:
Assist with Performance-Based Assessment testing and remediation's
Assist with New Adjunct Faculty competency testing
Assist in facilitation of Prelicensure Nursing Practice Labs
Support lead lab faculty in facilitation of Skills Labs
Be available to substitute any skills lab due to faculty vacancy
What you need:
Master’s degree required (MSN)
2 years’ of direct patient care nursing experience required
Unencumbered, current RN Licensure in Arizona or a compact state
Working knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and medical equipment typically found in health care setting
Experience working with typical medical equipment and computer-based equipment found in simulation labs, networking software systems, and audio/visual
Proficient with computer hardware and software including MS Office Suite, integrated AV/IT data collection software, task trainers, human patient simulators, and patient care equipment
Recent, relevant, working knowledge from healthcare background
Highly knowledgeable of nursing processes and procedures as related to patient care
Strong ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities with sustained focused ensuring high level of accuracy
Ability to adapt to changing priorities maintaining composure while rapidly changing lab requirements to meet user needs and schedules
Stays abreast of current trends, technology, state and/or federal requirements, and GCU policies and procedures
Icing on the Cake:
Doctoral degree preferred or pursuing
Teaching experience preferred
