The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is seeking a Lead Faculty, RN to BSN Program.  This role will be located on ground at our 33rd and Camelback main campus

What you will do:

  • Assist in providing administrative leadership for the RN to BSN Program and supervise faculty in designated program areas
  • Teach undergraduate courses or graduate courses within the requisite discipline meeting the required course load requirements
  • Develop and provide instruction that incorporates current teaching methodologies, technologies and other trends that reflect advances in the requisite discipline educational instruction
  • Engage students within classroom to stimulate discussions for collective learning
  • Incorporate relevant research resources and experiential activities to support course objectives, lectures and learning outcomes
  • Compile bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading
  • Assist students outside classroom hours and actively mentors students
  • Develop and administer forward thinking short and long term learning plans for students’ development and growth
  • Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
  • Assess student performance in accordance with University Assessment Practices
  • Use programmatic data and feedback from stakeholders to improve program outcomes
  • Assist with curriculum design and development; be a sound advocate for change to programs, curriculum and teaching methodologies/pedagogies

What you need:

  • Master’s in Nursing required. Doctorate preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in nursing
  • 5 or more years of related teaching experience preferred
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in Arizona or Compact State
  • Evidence of involvement in one’s professional area (e.g., membership in professional organizations, presentations, research and/or publications)
