Course: Justice Problem Analysis
This course examines the proper and effective use of research and data in the administration of justice. The course describes how to identify justice-related problems in the community, collect data on the problem, analyze the data, and apply criminological theories to the data to solve the problem. Other aspects of how to use justice research to improve communities are covered.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
- PhD in Justice Studies OR
- Legal Studies
- OR Master’s in Justice Studies OR
- Justice Studies
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND
- 18-graduate credits in Justice Studies
- Substantial work/teaching experience
