Course Description: HOS-440: Hotel and Lodging Management and Operations I
This course examines the management of hotel and lodging operations with an emphasis on customer service and improving profitability. Students are introduced to the basics of facilities management in core lodging segments, operational procedures, guest relations, and the relationships between operational departments. Analysis of operational efficiencies to improve organizational outcomes is also addressed.
** These courses are for traditional campus, FALL semester: 8/26/2019 - 12/15/2019
- Assists with grading class assignments.
- Comfortable teaching others and grading assignments
- Willingness to participate in instructional training sessions
- May be assigned to other duties assigned by the Lead Faculty
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in related program of study.
Note: Degree must be from an regionally accredited college or university AND must have the degree conferred/awarded date on the official transcript
- Must have sufficient courses in discipline of assistance as well as having received a grade of B or higher in each course.
