Grand Canyon University’s College of Engineering and Technology (CET) is seeking a full-time, 9-month faculty member to teach Game Development, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Software Development. Professional corporate/ industry experience is a plus. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the technical expertise of our academic community and who demonstrate a willingness to expand their knowledge and teaching to support multiple disciplines across the technology spectrum.

What you will do:
Teach Game Development, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Software Development courses in an interactive, hands-on manner by preparing lectures that stimulate classroom engagement, meeting the required course load requirements.
Show flexibility and a growth mindset by expanding your teaching expertise to cover multiple disciplines as needed.
Help support academic degree programs.
Stay current in technology fields and effective teaching techniques.
Participate in faculty and CET meetings and College/University committee activities.
Support the integrity of the GCU Christian mission, faith integration, and learning outcomes.
What you will need:
A master’s degree in a technical or computational field
Minimum two years’ teaching at collegiate level required or extensive industry knowledge may be substituted based upon the dean’s approval.
Specialized knowledge of discipline areas may be required.
Evidence of involvement in one’s professional area (e.g., membership in professional organizations, presentations, research and/or publications).
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
