- This position will be located at the Francis E. Warren Air Force Base Education Center: 1205 Blackpowder Road Cheyenne, Wyoming 82005
- The first class will run: March 10, 2026 - April 27, 2026
- Will need to be at the air force base Monday-Thursday from 11:00AM - 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time)
Course: English Composition I
This is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
- PhD in Composition OR
- Writing OR
- Professional Writing OR
- Rhetoric
- OR Master’s in Composition
- Writing OR
- Professional Writing OR
- Rhetoric
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial work experience
