Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SME)

Grand Canyon University is looking for Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to design curriculum for programs in our new College of Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET). The SME is a remote project-based, 1099 contractor position. For each course developed, the contractor will be paid $1500.00.
The SME involvement in the project will take approximately six to eight weeks and approximately six to ten hours of time each week. The project is a collaborative effort that includes the design of learning content, assessments and other additional resources as needed. You must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and three years of work experience in a related field. A Master’s degree and work experience in a related field is preferred.
Following are the programs for which we need SME’s:
- Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering with Robotics emphasis
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology
