Do you have a passion for leadership, program management, developing and maintain training, providing guidance related to accreditation, policy and compliance? The Office of Academic Compliance and Regulation is seeking an experienced, confident Director of Accreditation. Under the leadership and direction of the Vice-Provost, this position will provide management and direction for institutional, specialized, and programmatic compliance with accreditation bodies, supporting the University and Colleges. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our academic community and integrate faith.
Location: Main Campus, 33rd and Camelback
What you will do:
- Program manage all institutional accreditations, as well as college and program accreditations.
- Interpret accreditation rules are evaluated and interpreted correctly for the compliance of the University, colleges, and programs.
- Coordinate, prepare, and represent University reports to be submitted to institutional and programmatic accreditors on behalf of the University and Colleges.
- Develop and manage communication and training plan for university staff to ensure accurate information regarding all items in which accreditations dictate policies or processes.
- Coordinate with Colleges and Office of Academic Records to ensure alignment and compliance for student records and processes that support compliance with Institutional and programmatic accreditations.
- Attend accreditation conferences and meetings to support the University current approvals as well as those in viability and in process.
What you need:
- Master’s Degree required from a regionally accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years work experience and increasing leadership with institutional and programmatic accreditors. Experience in higher education required.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Highly-developed communication skills.
- Commitment and desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to cope professionally with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
