Course: Digital Photography II

In this course, students shoot RAW and apply advanced photography techniques to create images used for a variety of commercial advertising, social media, and other marketing purposes. Natural and studio lighting techniques are studied as available methods for image creation. This course requires Web-based presentations, and the creation and exhibition of student artwork.

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum: Bachelors with Design/Photography or Graphic Design/Photography Certification AND
  • industry experience AND approval by Dean or 2 years University instruction experience
• Preferred: Masters or other terminal degree AND
  • 2 years University instruction experience.
