Grand Canyon University’s College of Engineering is seeking a Dean to lead the Engineering team into the next decade. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our academic community and integrate faith.

What you will do:
Develop partnerships with industry to provide internships, capstone projects, and career starting employment
Continue the partnership with the KEEN Foundation and maintain the standards associated with the accrediting agency
Oversee new program development and create graduate as well as online degree programs in Engineering
Collaborate with industry experts and align curriculum with GCU’s Christian World View
Accountable for continued ABET accreditations
Continue high-quality learning outcomes, a culture of assessment and servant leadership
Lead a college in collaboration with all university teams and services in a matrix-organization that creates efficiencies and leverages best practices for student success and college operations (i.e., Faculty Training & Development, Curriculum Design & Development, and Marketing).
Lead faculty and support professional development of teaching - service - scholarship
What you need:
Doctorate in Engineering, preferably in one of the disciplines represented in the Engineering department (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Industrial)
Significant leadership experience in academia and/or industry
Desire and ability to work in an extremely dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial institution
Passion to share your Christian faith as a leader and educator
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
