GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ:

  • Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2026 Semester (01/05/2025 - 04/26/2025)

Course: Controls and Instrumentation & Lab

This course examines the various methods of controlling electrical mechanical systems using lumped parameter models. Topics include interfacing with analog and digital sensors, motors, and actuators. Advanced control software will be used for programming the systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum: Masters in engineering discipline AND
    • controls instrumentation experience. Preferred: Industry experience.
