Community Standards Coordinator

Do you have a passion to see students learn and be restored? Do you have the ability to manage cases and deal with complex investigations? The Department of Community Standards is seeking a positive, enthusiastic Community Standards Coordinator. This position reviews potential violations to the Community Standards in the University Policy Handbook and meets with students. We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our community and integrate faith.

Location: Main Campus, 33rd and Camelback

What you will do:

• Serves as one primary community standards coordinator in the Incident Review of potential violations of the Community Standards in the University Policy Handbook.
• Regularly meets with students as part of the Incident Review Process.
• Maintains conduct files and database(es) on all cases, tracks sanctions and follow-up action and prepares conduct reports.
• Helps in teaching and/or developing various classes through educational offerings.
• Collaborates with Residence Life staff and is a liaison to Public Safety and other departments as needed.

What you need:

• Minimum one year directly related work experience, preferably in a higher education.
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
