Audio Visual Draftsman - Campus Tech

Located in the Valley of Sun in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, GCU is a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University. 

The Audio-Visual Draftsman is responsible for producing detailed drawings and documentation for technology integration and infrastructure projects on campus. This role involves utilizing multiple software applications to create, update, and mark up technical drawings and related documents. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple applications are essential in this role.

What you will do:

• Responsible for producing clear and professional drawings for integrated systems and infrastructure projects.

• Create accurate drawings from hand sketches, markups, and site visits.

• Create usable markups and drawings used by others to follow during installation and integration processes.

• Responsible for making clear documentation (both editable and non-editable forms) using standard methods and consistent delivery.

• Update existing drawings and documentation as changes occur and publish for future reference.

• Ability to read and interpret single line, as-builds, and architectural drawings.

• Other duties as assigned.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required; Master’s degree in related field preferred

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or technical certificate preferred but not required.

• Demonstrated experience with drawing and markup software.

• Demonstrated experience with MS office and other company software.

• Must successfully pass a background check.
