BIB-620 [New Testament Exegesis: Gospels and Acts]

"This course is an exegetical study of the initial books of the New Testament. Special attention is given to key theological themes. Emphasis is placed on the interpretation of selected passages from the Gospels and Acts and the application of elementary Greek language skills and interpretive tools."

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Doctorate from an accredited college or university with 18 graduate credits in New Testament and Greek AND 2 or more years professional experience in the pastorate or teaching The Gospels and Acts at the postsecondary level.
