Adjunct Healthcare Faculty - Strategic Planning and Implementation in Health Care - Main Campus - Health Care Professions

What you will do:

• Provide program instruction, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline
• Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
• Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University
• Equip students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession
• Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What you need:

• Masters in Health Policy (MHP) or Masters in Public Administration (MPA) or Masters in Health Care Administration (MHCA) or Masters in Health Administration (MHA) or Masters in Public Health (MPH) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Nursing (MSN) AND 5 years work experience in quality and risk management or health policy or public health or care management or health care administration in a hospital or acute care or managed care or ambulatory care physician group or long term care setting.
• We are currently hiring for the Fall semester, 9/2/25 - 12/14/25.
• Class runs 2 days a week, for 1 hour and 45 minutes, each day at the Main Campus.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
