As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction in an online format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline.  If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction, we’d like to hear from you. 

MIS-660: Descriptive and Predictive Analytics

This course examines foundational analytics concepts with an emphasis on descriptive and predictive analytics. Students work with selected industry tools and methods for describing, summarizing, and presenting data and make predictions using statistical analysis. There is also emphasis on interpreting business requirements in the design of analytical models and effective communication of findings through data visualization.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: PhD or other terminal degree with an emphasis in Information Systems.
  • Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Information Systems AND 5 or more years experience in computer information systems. Additional required skills in R Statistical language AND Descriptive and Predictive statistics.
